The Florida Gators rallied Saturday to defeat the Kentucky Wildcats (66-64). The loss was UK’s 2nd consecutive loss after falling to South Carolina on Tuesday (76-68). Kentucky had a chance to tie at the end, but Florida denied drives by Quade Green and PJ Washington before stealing the inbounds pass with 2.5 seconds left to secure the win. The Wildcats dropped to 14-5 overall with the loss and 4-3 in the SEC. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Wenyen Gabriel had 10 points each for Kentucky. Next up for UK is a home game on Tuesday vs Mississippi State. Tip-off is scheduled for 9 PM and available on ESPN and the UK Radio Network (WSIP 98.9 FM) following the JCHS boys basketball game.
