The Kentucky State Police in Pikeville released additional information about a body that was pulled from the Levisa Fork of the Big Sandy River, near Old Railroad Bed Road in the Biggs community of Pike Co. late Monday afternoon. Police identified the man as James Wolford, 52, of Jamboree, who was found dead at Fishtrap Lake on Fishtrap Mine Road in the Feds Creek area of Pike Co. The lake is part of the Levisa Fork of the Big Sandy River. When troopers first responded to the 911 call, they thought drowning may be the cause of death. Foul play is not suspected at this time, but a death investigation has been opened. We will bring you further updates, once they are made available.
