Police in Magoffin Co. arrested a man Wednesday night after receiving a report of a man barricading himself in a bathroom and threatening to shoot himself. KSP troopers and other law enforcement responded to a home located on Route 1081 and found a man unable to respond. That man was taken to an area Hospital for treatment. Troopers continued their investigation at the home and allegedly found several needles, scales and plastic bags containing white and brown substances. They arrested 55-year-old Kanawha Ray Slone, of Topmost and charged him with trafficking in meth and heroin and illegal possession of a prescription drug. He was lodged in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center.
