The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for much of southeastern Kentucky, including Johnson County, through 7 AM Wednesday.
Forecasters say snow showers and some snow squalls are expected.
Total snow accumulation of a half of an inch to as much as two inches where showers are more persistent is expected.
Plan on slippery road conditions, including during the morning commute on Wednesday.
Motorists should be prepared for visibilities less than a quarter of a mile at times.
A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties.
Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.
