A Martin County man is facing numerous drug related charges.
Deputy Aaron Blevins of the Martin County Sheriff’s Department responded to Mary Perry Road in Tomahawk on Thursday night looking for a man who had an active warrant for his arrest out of Johnson County.
The man, 36-year-old Taylor Mills, took off running around a house when deputies arrived and would not listen to commands.
Mills had pill residue coming from his nose, hundreds of pills and several knives in his pockets, along with over $1,500 in his sock.
Deputies say he had slurred speech and glassy eyes; he told deputies that he did trade pills.
He’s facing numerous drug charges along with resisting arrest and fleeing or evading police.
He’s being held in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center.
