Expect sub-freezing temperatures when you wake up on Wednesday morning. The following is notice of a Freeze Warning for all of east Kentucky, including Johnson County:
The National Weather Service in Jackson has issued a Freeze Warning, which is in effect from 3 AM to 9 AM EDT Wednesday.
* Temperatures will reach the mid 20s to around 30 for most locations tonight, with the coldest temperatures in valleys.
* The killing of sensitive plants and bushes is possible from these temperatures. Budding fruit trees could also be damaged.
A Freeze Warning means sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or highly likely. These conditions will kill crops and other sensitive vegetation.
