More details have been released in an Elliott Co homicide, including the man’s name and information that his girlfriend is missing. Earlier this week, Elliott Co Officials reported that a man was out looking for mushrooms Tuesday evening around 5:45 PM near Flat Rock Road in Sandy Hook, when the man found the body under the ledge of a waterfall. Officials said it appeared the death was a homicide and that the body had been there for several days. The Elliott Co. Coroner’s Office released the name of the deceased on Thursday as Justin Noad, 30 of Sandy Hook. Officials said Noad died from multiple gunshot wounds. Noad’s family told investigators they had filed a missing person report on him and investigators released details that said Noad’s girlfriend, whose name has not been released, also is reported missing. The Kentucky State Police and the Elliott Co Sheriff’s Office are involved in this investigation. No arrests have been made at this time.
