UK Football

The Kentucky football team received it's 25th commitment for the class of 2014 on Sunday. Dorian Baker, a three-star wide receiver from Cleveland, OH is the latest to make a verbal commit to UK. Rivals has Baker ranked as the no. 20 prospect in the Buckeye state. The 6-3, 205-pound receiver picked Kentucky over a lot of schools, including Illinois, Minnesota, Pittsburgh and Vanderbilt.

State College Football Scores (10-19-2013)

- * EKU defeated Tennessee Tech 24-10 during Homecoming festivities in Richmond. With the win, the Colonels improved to 4-3, 2-1 OVC. (Former JCHS All-State RB, J.J. Jude finished with 21 c/ 60 yds and 1 rec/ 12 yds)

- * Morehead State Eagles improved to 3-4 overall and 3-1 in conference action, after winning their third straight PFL contests for the first time since 2007 Saturday, with an impressive 42-28 victory over Valparaiso.

- * UPIKE defeated Bethel 35-24. The Bears improve to 4-3 on the season.

- * University of the Cumberlands defeated Georgetown College 38-35 to improve to 6-0 overall and 4-0 in the Mid-South Conf. (Former JCHS standout Jimmy Preston had 4 tackles and 1 Fumble recovery in the game)
