UK Football

Univ. of Ky football team made the history books Saturday. Nothing really good about it though, because their entree into the record book was du to the fact that SEC newcomer, Missouri defeated the CATS Sat. to give the Tigers their dfirst ever SEC win. Final Score, Mizz 33 - UK 10. Kentucky drops to 1-8 overall and 0-5 SEC, whole Missouri improves to 4-4 overall and 1-4 SEC.  One bright spot for UK Saturday was the play of their Fresh. cornerback J.D. Harmon, who has been named Honorable Mention Defensive Back of the Week by the College Football Performance Awards for his impressive performance Saturday. Harmon posted a career-best seven tackles and got two interceptions in the game. Harmon is the first UK player since Winston Guy in the 2011 season opener against Western Kentucky to collect two interceptions in a game. Next up for UK is this Sat. as they will host Vanderbilt at 12PM.
