The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Advisory for the Levisa Fork of the Big Sandy River at Paintsville and Prestonsburg.
The advisory remains in place through Monday evening.
Flood stage is 35 feet; the river is forecast to rise to near 32.2 feet by Monday morning, then begin falling.
The waters were at 25.1 feet on Sunday afternoon.
