The KY-40 underpass is reportedly open this morning.
We’re told there is still some water in the lane as you head into town, so proceed with caution.
Update 10PM 2/12/18:
National Weather Service in Jackson has said the river has crested at 9:45 pm at 32.84 feet.
Waters should be starting to reseed in a few hours.
High waters are causing concern in Paintsville around the KY-40 underpass.
The river is cresting this afternoon and water levels should recede this evening.
