The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for all of eastern Kentucky, including Johnson County, throughout the day on Wednesday.
The advisory is in effect locally from 2AM through 8PM Wednesday, March 21.
Forecasters say total snow accumulations of up to two inches are expected.
Localized amounts near 3 inches are possible above 1500 feet elevation.
Motorists should plan on slippery road conditions, including during the morning commute on Wednesday.
Be prepared for reduced visibilities at times.
A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties.
Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.
