Two Big Sandy Regional Detention Center inmates, who escaped custody on Thursday afternoon, are still “on the loose.” Authorities are asking the public for help in finding 30-year-old Jeremy Boggs and 24-year-old Brian Olson. They were last seen in the Sitka area along KY-201. They were on work release picking up garbage in that area when they escaped from jail officials. Officials with the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office say they are NOT being considered armed and dangerous, but officials still say not to approach them. If you see them, instead contact law enforcement. They are from the Sandy Hook area. Sheriff Price states in a press release: “I believe they had someone waiting on them. But we won’t know until they are located.” Both were being held in the jail on parole violations.
