Four people indicted for helping John Russell Hall pleaded not guilty in court on Thursday. A judge set each of their bonds at $10,000. The four people were arrested the same time that Police located Hall at a home near the Floyd-Pike Co line in the Betsy Layne community of Floyd Co. Michael Slone, 39, Gregory Slone, 53, Amanda Dotson, 37, and Jeanne Blackburn all allegedly helped Hall get transportation and hide from Police. As previously reported, Hall allegedly shot and killed Pikeville Police Officer Scotty Hamilton on March 13. Following the shooting, a large manhunt took place to find Hall, who was eventually found about 36 hours later at the home of Greg Slone. Court documents reveal Dotson and Michael Slone picked Hall up in Dotson’s car. Blackburn was at Slone’s home and investigators say she knew he was wanted. A pre-trial conference has been set for the four individuals on April 12.
