The price of gas is on the rise again for this season.
The statewide average has climbed over ten cents per gallon over the last week.
GasBuddy.com is reporting the lowest gas prices in the state are in the Bowling Green area – where you can get a gallon of unleaded gasoline for about $2.43.
The highest gas prices in Kentucky are in the Louisville metro; that’s where some gas stations are charging as much as $2.99 for a gallon of unleaded.
Triple A says the gas prices will typically begin to go back down when temperatures begin to cool back down – likely this fall.
