The woman accused of violating her probation in the case of a Greenup Co teen’s death from 2015, has been arrested once again after a month “on the run.”
According to reports, Kelly Dummitt was arrested early Sunday morning in Lewis Co. Dummitt was facing charges for her alleged role in the 2015 death of Mattie Conley.
A judge had granted Dummitt a pre-trial diversion which she allegedly violated just days later earlier this year.
The judge gave her a second chance in late January, but after a 90 day stint in jail, investigators say Dummitt violated the terms again in late July and had been wanted ever since.
Court records say Dummitt had left the state of Kentucky without permission, drank alcohol, violated curfew, and gave false information to her probation officer.
She was lodged in Lewis Co Detention Center after Sunday’s arrest.
