A man was arrested last week in Floyd Co after attempting to break into a Church. According to reports, the incident happened Wednesday, September 26 at the Martin Church of Christ. The Minister at the Church, Gary Mitchell went to the Church Wednesday afternoon to get things ready for Wednesday night services, when he heard noises coming from the Kitchen area of the Church. Mitchell went back to investigate and could hear, as well as see the doorknob tying to be turned and he called Police. When Police arrived at the scene they found the suspect, Rogie Case still attempting to pick the lock. He was placed under arrest and charged with 1st-degree burglary and forced entry. He was lodged at the Floyd Co Detention Center under a $10,000 cash bond.
