Two men out of Pike Co were recently indicted by the Pike Co Grand Jury for their involvement a couple weeks ago, that resulted in a Pikeville Police Officer being stuck with a “dirty needle”. Police said Officers responded to a local motel room on September 18th, after receiving a call about possible drug activity. Upon arrival at the motel room, Police scene 27 year old Jordan Conn, of Harold, reach into the waistband of his pants for what officers later discovered was a .380 automatic pistol. Officers also arrested Michael Kidd of Pikeville in the motel room. Officers found a large amount of drugs and cash in the room, including cocaine, which was destroyed. Both men were indicted last week. Conn is facing charges of Assault in the 3rd degree for the officer being stuck with a needle in his pocket, carrying a concealed deadly weapon and first degree trafficking in a controlled substance. Kidd is also facing first degree drug trafficking charges. Both men remain lodged in the Pike Co Detention Center.
