Floyd Co health officials have confirmed a case of Hepatitis A at the Floyd Co detention center. Authorities say the affected inmate is being kept away from other inmates in order to avoid spread of the disease. Starting this week, all inmates at the jail will be vaccinated against the virus. There are currently an estimated 40 cases of possible Hepatitis A throughout Floyd Co that health officials are investigating. Six cases have been confirmed.
