A 16-year-old Johnson Central junior is working to make a difference on a global level.
Megan Hudnall’s baby sister, Hayley, was stillborn in 2009; and Megan recently launched a project aimed at comforting others at their time of need.
The mission of the project, known as “Hayley’s Box,” is to provide unique memory boxes and comfort bags to bereaved families at no cost to them.
Hudnall says she puts at least a couple of hours of work into each box, and has made about 50 so far.
Many of the boxes has gone to local families, but some have gone much further.
One box was recently shipped overseas as word of the project has spread via social media.
