The Pikeville Police Dept. arrested a woman after she allegedly stabbed her ex-husband at a Pikeville restaurant. According to information released by the Police Police Dept. Officers received a call from a man who reported that his ex-wife had stabbed him with a pair of scissors in the parking lot of Texas Roadhouse. He also reports that she had said she had allegedly took his iPhone X and threw it on the ground, causing the screen to shatter. When Police arrived at the scene, the woman, identified as Breann Paige Runyon, had already left the scene in a car. Police managed to catch up with Runyon’s vehicle, which was traveling southbound on US 23 at “a high rate of speed”. Officers stopped Runyon and arrested her without any further problems. Police said they did not locate the pair of scissors allegedly used during this incident. Reports indicated that the man received a small stab wound on his left arm and Officers interviewed two witnesses at the scene. Runyon has been charged with 2nd degree assault, 1st degree criminal mischief and tampering with physical evidence. She was lodged in the Pike Co. Jail.
