State Police are investigating a single vehicle crash along KY-645 in Inez.
Just after 6PM Sunday evening, Post 09 the received a call from Martin County 911.
Upon arrival of Troopers it was determined a 2003 Ford F250 operated by Michael Ferrell was traveling South bound on KY Rt. 645 when the operator lost control of the vehicle and veered off the South bound shoulder.
The operator attempted a sharp turn to regain control of the vehicle and overcorrected.
The vehicle traveled off the roadway striking an embankment.
The vehicle then overturned and ejected the operator (Ferrell).
After being transported to Highlands Regional Hospital Ferrell was pronounced deceased due to the injury’s sustained in the crash.
Alcohol or drugs are not suspected at this time.
The crash remains under the investigation of Trooper Holbrook.
