According to a news release from the Louisa Police Dept. on Saturday, November 4, 2018 at 9:46 AM, the Louisa Fire Department responded to a call at the Papa Johns located in the Food City Plaza in Louisa in reference to the report that the front window had just blown out.
Upon arrival and investigation for a possible gas leak, it was determined that the front window was shot out in the early morning hours and had just collapsed.
Louisa Police were called to the scene and began an investigation into the incident and determined that several bullets or pellets had been fired into the front windows and door of the business just after it closed early Sunday morning.
Police are gathering video surveillance from neighboring businesses in hopes to obtain a viable suspect or suspects.
This case remains under investigation by Louisa Police Chief Greg Fugitt.
