According to the Louisa Police Dept. on Sunday, November 4 at approximately 9:22, the Louisa Police Department were dispatched to the Louisa Hardees Restaurant in reference to a call of a male subject attempting to rob people at the business.
When Officers arrived on scene, the victims told them the subject, identified as Randel E. Boggs, 19, of Louisa, had allegedly pointed what seemed to be a gun at them and attempted to take their vehicle.
When unsuccessful, he fled the scene on foot. Police said they located Boggs just north of the restaurant walking.
Officers questioned Boggs and found that he had a shotgun barrel only on him.
Boggs was placed under arrest and was charged with Robbery 1st degree as well as being a Fugitive from another state.
He was lodged into the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center.
