* The Kentucky men’s basketball team defeated North Dakota 96-58 last night at Rupp Arena and improved their early season record to 2-1. UK was led in scoring by So. P.J. Washington who had 25 points including a career high 4 made 3-pointers. Fr. Tyler Herro added 18 points and had 5 steals. Fr. Keldon Johnson notched Kentucky’s first double-double of the season with 12 points and a game-high 10 rebounds, while Fr. Immanuel Quickley tallied 12 points and added four assists and Sr. Reid Travis had 11 points and 7 rebounds. The Wildcats shot 53 percent from the field and out-rebounded North Dakota 45-15. The Wildcats will next host Virginia Military Institute on Sunday for the second of the four-game Ohio Valley Hardwood Showcase. That game is slated for a 6 p.m. tip on the SEC Network.
